With a WSA accredited instructor, you can be assured your party is in safe hands and will have a SUP-er day out regardless of your previous experience.

WGS* is owned & run by Rich who grew up in Twyning next to the River Avon. We are thrilled to be able to share this beautiful stretch of the river with you in such a unique way.
We’re proud to support local businesses, and have drafted in brand new top of the range 2023 boards from McConks, a renowned local manufacturer in the Cotswolds.
We can provide a fun-filled day out to suit all your requirements, whether you’re looking for a great party atmosphere or some relaxing water therapy – Wild Goose SUP can accommodate it all!

We feel ready to share some fun times on the water with you all.
The whole purpose of this Brand-New Venture is to share this beautiful stretch of river with you all and for you to be able to learn how to Stand-Up Paddle in a really safe, relaxed and fun way. We guarantee however many times you fall in; you will still go home smiling!
Our launch site is right next to the River Avon in the charming village of Twyning near Tewkesbury. We have our own private slipway and free on-site private parking provided to clients for the duration of your session right next to our slipway. The village has two pubs; The Village Inn & The Fleet Inn – we are based next door to The Fleet Inn, which overlooks the river, and it’s the perfect spot for post-paddle drinks and food, plus the village shop is also well stocked for any last-minute supplies you might want. Or, maybe take the beautiful riverside walk into Tewkesbury with it’s Norman Abbey, historic buildings, cafes and pubs.

SESSION DETAILS:
We kick off the session with some basic on-land tuition on how to stand on your SUP & the best technique for paddling. This will be coupled with a short safety briefing before we hit the water. We’ll stay local and provide a family friendly fun environment filled with laughter and games, or a more in-depth approach to the tuition session depending on the group or individual’s requirements, with the option for you to finish up at the pub for refreshments at the close of the session.
Under 18’s (must be accompanied by an adult).

Hen & Stag
Parties
DURATION: 1.5 hours
LOCATION: Twyning Park
GROUP SIZE: 4 Min – 8 Max
SESSION DETAILS:
We kick off the session with some basic on-land tuition on how to stand on your SUP & the best technique for paddling. This will be coupled with a short safety briefing before ‘hitting’ the water. We’ll stay local and be able to have loads of fun on-the-water games for the duration of our time, finishing up with a SUP race for whoever wants to get involved; or we can provide a gentler & more relaxing experience – the choice is yours! Either way, you have the option to head over to the pub at the close of the session and round off your paddle experience with refreshments by the river!

SESSION DETAILS:
We kick off the session with some basic on-land tuition on how to stand on your SUP & the best technique for paddling. This will be coupled with a short safety briefing before we hit the water. We’ll stay local and be able to have loads of fun, team-building games & challenges for the duration of our time on the water. Of course, you are also welcome to round off your experience with a couple of drinks at one of the village pubs at the close of the session.
